Trait – Pseudo-Immortality: When reduced to 0 hit points, the Voidborn Archon is transported to its home plane and enters a hibernative state for 24 hours. During this time, it must rest undisturbed in a designated “anchor.” If the anchor is destroyed, the Archon dies permanently. Otherwise, it returns at full HP after the 24 hours.
Trait – Materialization Points (8 Total): The Voidborn Archon has 8 materialization points it may spend to summon Voidbound Thralls. Summons only obey if they were consumed.
Grade 1 Thrall (CR 1–5): 2 points
Grade 2 Thrall (CR 6–10): 3 points
Grade 3 Thrall (CR 11+): 5 points
Trait – Awakened and Dormant States: The Archon has two distinct states it may shift between.
Dormant State Abilities:
Cosmic Perception – Truesight 120 ft., sense planar boundaries.
Voidborne Resilience – Resistance to psychic and necrotic damage; immune to frightened.
Whisper of the Cosmos – Cast Detect Thoughts a number of times per day equal to proficiency bonus.
Void Calling – Once per turn, a weapon or spell attack deals +3d8 necrotic damage; gain half as temporary HP.
Awakened Drawbacks:
Mental Strain – Gain 1 level of exhaustion when the state ends.
Isolation – Cannot benefit from healing or positive buffs.
Alien Presence – Allies within 10 ft. have disadvantage on fear saves.
Thrall System – Consume Thrall: When the Voidborn Archon lands a killing blow, it may consume the target. If consumed, the creature becomes a Voidbound Thrall and can be summoned later.
Thrall Summoning Requirements: May only summon while in Awakened state. Thralls remain active until defeated, dismissed, or the Archon is incapacitated.

Grade 1 (CR 1–5): 2 points
Grade 2 (CR 6–10): 3 points
Grade 3 (CR 11+): 5 points
Voidbound Thrall Traits:
Incorporeal Movement – May pass through objects/creatures as if difficult terrain, takes 1d10 force damage if it ends turn inside a solid object.
Psychic Weaponry – All physical damage becomes psychic damage.
Blindfighting – Gains blindsight 30 ft., ignores visual illusions in that range. Also gains darkvision 120 ft.
Actions
Multiattack: The Voidborn Archon makes two Void Strike attacks.
Void Strike: Melee or Ranged Spell Attack: +13 to hit, reach 10 ft. or range 60 ft., one target. Hit: 4d10 + 6 psychic damage.
Awakened State Abilities:
The Archon may enter Awakened state once per day for up to 10 minutes, or indefinitely while on the Astral Plane. During this time it loses access to normal class/racial features.
Unique Spells (1/Transformation Each, Awakened State Only)
Astral Pulse (5th-level Evocation) – 1 action, 60 ft. range, 20 ft. radius sphere. DC 18 Wis save. Fail: 6d10 psychic and frightened until end of next turn. Success: half damage, no fear.
Planar Rend (6th-level Conjuration) – Bonus action, 30 ft. radius around self. DC 18 Dex save or take 4d8 force and be pushed 10 ft. away. Lasts 1 minute, concentration.
Eldritch Consumption (7th-level Necromancy) – 1 action, 30 ft. range. One creature of CR or level lower than yours. DC 18 Con save. Fail: 8d10 necrotic, you heal half. If it dies, it becomes a Thrall.
Cosmic Convergence (8th-level Transmutation) – 1 action, self. Lasts 1 minute. You gain resistance to all damage. Enemies within 10 ft. make DC 18 Wis save or be paralyzed until start of their next turn.
Void’s Embrace (9th-level Enchantment) – 1 action, 120 ft. range. Up to 3 creatures make DC 18 Cha save or be incapacitated and immobilized. They take 6d12 psychic damage at the start of their turns while affected. Concentration, 1 minute.
Astral Rending
Melee astral slash, 4d10 psychic damage.
Dimensional Rift – Once per transformation. DC 18 Charisma save or banish creatures in 10 ft. radius for 1d4 rounds; they take 8d20 psychic damage when they return.
Eldritch Isolation – Immune to mind-affecting effects. 15 ft. aura causes disadvantage on Int, Wis, and Cha saves.
