Description

Similar to their smaller cousins, blackscale lizardfolk are primitive reptilian humanoids that live in tribes and can become dangerous if provoked. Though this is where there similarities end. What distinguishes a blackscale is obviously their black scales, their ability to grow as large if not larger than ogres, and their red neck that flares up when enraged. The average specimen can weigh up to 700 pounds, with the largest ones being measured at around 1,000 pounds. While most Blackscale tribes remain isolated in the swamps or on islands, those who encounter other species of humanoids often may appoint a "diplomat" who can speak rudimentary common.
