Displacement. A Mirrage appears around the displacer beast. Having mastered its displacement its mirrage clonest can be away from itself max of 60 ft away. causing attack rolls against it to have disadvantage. If it is hit by an attack, this trait is disrupted until the end of its next turn. This trait is also disrupted while the displacer beast is incapacitated or has a speed of 0.
Clone casting. The Alpha can cast spells challening them through its clones.
Clones. The Clones have 20 health and are also mirraged. they are indecernable from the true Alpha.
Nine Lives. When the displacer beast is killed it will revive after 1d4 days to a max of nine times before perminant death.

Bite. Melee Weapon Attack +8 to hit 30 (4d10+8) Piercing Damage.
Tentacle. Melee Weapon Attack: +6 to hit, reach 10 ft., one target. Hit: 15 (2d6 + 8) bludgeoning damage plus 15 (2d6 + 8) piercing damage.
Tentacle Grab. 60ft. The Alpha will attempt to Grapple a large or smaller target. the target must make a Dex 16 saving throw. If the target fails the Alpha grapples the monster and throws them up to 15 ft in a direction of its choosing.
Battle Screach. The Alpha will let out a deafening scream and all enemies within 100 ft. must make a Con 17 save or become deafened and frightened. Creatures may reroll the save at the end of their turn.
Spellcasting. The Alpha is a 12-level spellcaster. His spellcasting ability is Intelligence (spell save DC 18, +10 to hit with spell attacks). the Alpha has the following spells prepared:

Description
Origins. A well battle tested Displacer Beast has picked up on the magic tricks from mankind and harnessed it due to its fay based ancestory. It can cast moderate spells and has learned some of the best ways to ambush prey. Over the years it has also trained and mastered its displacement abilities allowing its clones to look more lifelike and durable.
Love of the Kill. Displacer beasts kill not just for food but also for sport. They target prey even when not hungry, often toying with their victims to entertain themselves until they are ready to eat. After killing its prey using its tentacles, a displacer beast drags the corpse to a quiet place where it can feed without distraction.
Displacer beasts hunt alone or in small prides that demonstrate skill at setting ambushes. A single beast will strike and withdraw, luring prey into a densely wooded area where its packmates wait. Packs of displacer beasts hunting near trade roads recall the frequency and schedule of regular caravans, laying down ambushes to pick off those caravans.
Prized Guards and Pets. Intelligent evil creatures favor displacer beasts as pets, but a displacer beast enters such an alliance only if it appears beneficial. A displacer beast might guard a vault or act as a bodyguard for a prominent individual.
