Beatific Restoration. If the ape of Bes dies outside the Beastlands, its body evaporates into golden mist, and it gains a new body instantly, reviving with all its Hit Points somewhere in the Beastlands.
Multiattack. The ape of Bes makes three attacks: one with its bite and two holy thrash.
Bite. Melee Attack Roll: +7 to hit, reach 5 ft. Hit: 11 (2d6 + 4) Piercing damage.
Holy Thrash. Melee Attack Roll: +7 to hit, reach 5 ft. Hit: 9 (1d10 + 4) Bludgeoning damage plus 9 (2d8) Radiant damage. If the target is a Large or smaller creature, it has the Prone condition.
Innate Spellcasting. The ape of Bes’s spellcasting ability is Wisdom (spell save DC 13). The ape of Bes can innately cast the following spells, requiring no material components:
1/day each: invisibility (self only), phantasmal force
2/day each: bless, silvery barbs
Summon Friend (1/Day). The ape of Bes attempts a magical summoning.
An ape of Bes has a 30 percent chance of summoning another ape of Bes or a Felidar (equal chance of each).
A summoned ally appears in an unoccupied space within 60 feet of its summoner, acts as an ally of its summoner, and can’t summon other allies. It remains for 1 minute, until it or its summoner dies, or until its summoner dismisses it as an action.
Running Leap. The ape of Bes jumps up to 40 feet by spending 10 feet of movement..
