Fire Absorption. Whenever the construct is subjected to fire damage, it takes no damage and instead regains a number of hit points equal to the fire damage dealt.
Immutable Form. The construct is immune to any spell or effect that would alter its form.
Magic Resistance. The construct has advantage on saving throws against spells and other magical effects.
Magic Weapons. The construct's weapon attacks are magical.
Arcane Energy. The construct has zero charges and can have a maximum of five charges. It gains one charge if it is hit with a critical hit or scores a critical hit. It gains 4 temporary hit points for each charge it has at the start of each of its turns.
Target Assessment. The construct knows which creature within 60 feet of it has dealt the most damage since the end of its turn the previous round.
Joint Weakness. The construct's ten abdominal joints can be targeted with attacks. They have AC 25 and 30 hit points each, and damage dealt to them is also dealt to the construct. Present only a single joint at a time. If a joint is destroyed, the construct loses 1 charge from its Arcane Energy trait and its charge maximum decreases by 1. If the construct loses five joints, its speed is halved and it can't take use Weave or Fractal Threads. If the construct loses eight joints, its speed is reduced to 0. If the construct loses nine joints, it falls prone. If the construct loses all ten joints, it becomes incapacitated.
Multiattack. The construct uses Weave, then makes one Skewer attack, plus one for each charge it has from its Arcane Energy trait.
Skewer. Melee Weapon Attack: +13 to hit, reach 10 ft., one target. Hit: 20 (3d8 + 7) piercing damage.
Weave. A creature of the construct's choice within 10 feet of it must make a DC 18 Strength or Dexterity save (the target's choice) or be wrapped in magical threads that disrupt magical outflow. The target's speed is reduced to 0 and it can't cast spells or take actions or reactions that use magic. The target can repeat the save at the end of each of its turns, ending the effect on a successful save, or it can use its action to break free from the threads. The effect also ends if the target takes or deals any amount of slashing damage.
Fractal Threads (Recharge 6). The construct spins threads of arcane light in a volatile pattern, striking each creature of its choice within 30 feet of it. Those creatures must make a DC 18 Dexterity saving throw or take 44 (8d10) force damage.
Threat Shield. In response to taking damage from the identified creature from its Target Assessment trait, the construct projects a shield of magical force and takes no damage instead.
The construct can take 3 legendary actions, choosing from the options below. Only one legendary action option can be used at a time and only at the end of another creature’s turn. The construct regains spent legendary actions at the start of its turn.
Attack. The construct makes one Skewer attack.
Move. The construct moves up to half its speed.
Charge (Costs 2 Actions). The construct gains one charge for its Arcane Energy trait.
