Motivation. When within 10 feet of any not-undead creature, the Baby of Darkness will have 50 ft. of movement.
Cling. The Baby of Darkness can attempt to cling onto a creature of at least the size small. When doing so, the target must make a DC 12 Dexterity saving throw or be clung to. If the target is size small, it will lose 10 feet of movement per Baby of Darkness clung to it. If it is medium, it will lose 5 feet of movement per Baby of Darkness. If it is large, it will lose 5 feet of movement per two Babies of Darkness. If it is larger still, it will not lose any speed.
Explode. The Baby of Darkness explodes. It can only use this bonus action if it is clung to any creature.
Any creature within 10 feet of the Baby of Darkness must succeed a DC 12 Dexterity saving throw or take 2d4 Necrotic damage. On a success, they take half that much instead. If a creature is within 5 feet, they must make a DC 15 Dexterity saving throw instead.
If a creature has the Baby of Darkness clung to it, they will, instead of doing the saving throw, take 4d4 Necrotic damage.
Chain Reaction. If any Baby of Darkness clung to the same creature explodes, it will explode as well, using the Explode bonus action. This is considered a free and mandatory reaction.
