Description
Snack Dragons
Among all dragons, snack dragons are very unique and is among the rarest species of dragons. Their entire bodies are made of up edible components and their size grow relative to how much they eat. With ample food, a snack dragon wyrmling can reach adult size in just over 10 years. Snack dragons can take residence in any location where there is ample food, particularly locations with no strong natural predators and far away from any kind of civilization. Most snack dragons are nomadic, scavenging until they found such a location for themselves, upon which they settle down until they reach adulthood. Snack dragons are surprisingly good at stealth, often hiding among foliage and ambushing preys.
Snack dragons hoard food items. Any food it couldn't immediately consume will be brought back to its chose place of residence, where it is slowly consumed under the safety of its lair. Snack dragons are highly distrusting and opportunistic by nature, and as such prefer to avoid direction confrontation with any creature it does not regard as food. Usually preferring to magically induce sleep on creatures it does not feel safe interacting with, snack dragons will instead trap enemies in a thick layer of chocolate upon being angered or disturbed. The trapped creature will slowly suffocate to death before getting gradually turned into a food item by the dragon's innate magic.
