Traits

God of Hyperdeath (Recharges after a short or long rest). If Asriel would be reduced to 0 hit points, his current hit point total instead resets to his maximum hit points, he recharges any recharge ability and he regains any expended uses of Legendary Resistance. Additionally, Asriel changes into his true form and he can now use the options in the "Mythic Actions" section for 1 hour. Award a party an additional 155,000 XP (310,000 XP total) for defeating Asriel after his God of Hyperdeath trait activates.

Legendary Resistance (5/Day). If Asriel fails a saving throw, he can choose to succeed instead.

Divine Nature. Asriel is considered a Celestial and a Monstrosity.

Limited Magic Immunity. Unless he wishes to be affected, Asriel is immune to spells of 6th level or lower. He has advantage on saving throws against all other spells and magical effects.

Magic Weapons. Asriel’s attacks are considered magical.

God of Determination. Asriel recovers 5d10 hit points at the start of his turn. Asriel is immune to any effect that would immediately destroy or dispel him, such as a cleric's Divine Intervention or Power Word Kill.

Shapechanger. Asriel can change shapes between his divine form, his true form and a child-like form, the latter of which is medium sized but retains all stats. When his God of Hyperdeath trait triggers, he immediately changes into his true form. Out of combat, he takes on his child-like form.

Power Overcharge. After Asriel’s God of Hyperdeath trait triggers, the combat automatically ends after 1d4 x 5 turns passed. After the turns have passed, Asriel assumes his child-like form for 2d4 hours before turning into Flowey the Flower.

Actions

Multiattack. Asriel makes two attacks using his Chaos Saber or his Chaos Buster and casts a spell. Afterwards, he can use two of either Star Blazing or Shocker Breaker. After his God of Hyperdeath trait activates, he replaces his Chaos Saber and Chaos Buster actions with his Angel of Death action.

Chaos Saber. Melee Weapon Attack: +16 to hit, reach 10 ft., one target. Hit: 14 (2d6+7) slashing damage and 5 (1d10) force damage. If Asriel is below half health but hasn’t triggered his God of Hyperdeath trait, the damage is doubled.

Chaos Buster. Asriel shoots his Chaos Buster. All creatures within a 90 ft. cone have to make a DC 24 Dexterity saving throw. On a fail, the targets take 22 (4d10) force damage or half as much on a success.

Star Blazer. Asriel summons shooting stars that crash into the ground. He chooses five different points within 300 ft. Each creature in a 40-foot-radius sphere centered on each point he chooses must make a DC 24 Dexterity saving throw. The stars spread around corners. A creature takes 90 (20d8) radiant damage on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one. A creature in the area of more than one shooting star is affected only once.

Shocker Breaker. Asriel summons colorful lightning. All creatures within 60 ft. of Asriel have to make a DC 24 Dexterity saving throw. On a fail, all targets take 45 (10d8) lightning damage or half as much on a success. On a fail, the targets are also stunned until the end of their next turn.

Angel of Death. Asriel can only use this after his God of Hyperdeath trait activates. Asriel targets 5 creatures within 180 ft. of him. All targets have to make a DC 24 Dexterity saving throw. On a fail, they take 50 (20d4) force damage or half as much on a success.

Chaos Beam (1/Day). Asriel can only use this after his God of Hyperdeath trait activates. Asriel fills a 180 ft. cone with chaos magic. All creatures take 141 damage. If this attack would reduce a creature to 0 hit points, they are put at 1 hit point instead.

Reactions

Asriel can use up to four reactions per round but only one per turn.

Chaos Reflect. Whenever Asriel would be hit by a ranged spell or weapon attack, he can increase his AC by 7. If this would cause the attack to miss, the attack is instead reflected back to the attacker.

God of Chaos. Whenever Asriel misses an attack roll or a creature passes a saving throw, he can force a reroll.

Lethal Injustice. Omega Flowey harnesses the power of the Justice soul. When Omega Flowey gets attacked by a spell and he fails the saving throw, he can force the attacker to take half the damage they dealt to Omega Flowey.

Legendary Actions

Asriel can take 5 legendary actions, choosing from the options below. Only one legendary action option can be used at one time and only at the end of another creature’s turn. Asriel regains spent legendary actions at the start of his turn.

Chaos Attacks (1 Action). Asriel makes an attack using his Chaos Saber or Chaos Buster action. This cannot be used once his God of Hyperdeath trait is triggered.

Spellcasting (1 Action). Asriel casts a spell equal or below 5th level.

Chaotic Teleport (1 Action). Asriel teleports to an unoccupied space within 180ft.

Mythic Actions

If Asriel’s God of Hyperdeath trait has activated in the last hour, he can use the options below as legendary actions.

Angel of Death (2 Actions). Asriel uses his Angel of Death action.

Determined Nature (2 Actions). Asriel chooses up to three creatures he can see within 90 ft. All targets have to make a DC 24 Wisdom saving throw. On a fail, all targets receive a -7 penalty to all attack rolls and saving throws. This lasts for three turns or until they succeed the saving throw at the end of their turn.

Description

“Finally. I was so tired of being a flower. Howdy! …Are you there? It's me, your best friend…” - Asriel Dreemurr

Asriel Dreemurr, son of Toriel and Asgore, the original form of Flowey and prince of the entire Underground. After dying, his dust spread across the king’s flower garden and, after an unfortunate experience, he was reborn as Flowey the Flower. Once he gained seven human souls, he regained his original form as Asriel and ascended to godhood as the self-proclaimed “God of Hyperdeath.”
