Traits

Fetid Stench. Constitution Saving Throw: DC 16, any creature (other than a demon) that starts its turn in a 30-foot Emanation originating from the adaru. Failure: The target has the Poisoned condition until the start of its next turn. Success: The target is immune to the Fetid Stench of all adaru for 1 hour. Failure or Success: The area within the Emanation is Difficult Terrain.

Toxic Cloud. At the end of each of the adaru's turns, each creature of the adaru's choice in a 5-foot Emanation originating from the adaru takes 11 (2d10) Poison damage unless the adaru has the Incapacitated condition.

Magic Resistance. The adaru has Advantage on saving throws against spells and other magical effects.

Multilegged. The adaru is not affected by Difficult Terrain.

Actions

Bite. Melee Attack Roll: +7, reach 5 ft. Hit: 5 (2d8 + 3) Piercing damage plus 7 (2d6) Poison damage, and the target's Hit Point Maximum is reduced by half the Poison damage dealt (round up).

Command Allies (3/Day). The adaru casts Charm Monster on a demon friendly to it, using Charisma as the spellcasting ability (spell save DC 16).

Summon Demon (1/Day). The adaru summons 1d4 babaus. A summoned demon appears in an unoccupied space within 60 feet of the adaru, acts as an ally of the adaru, and can’t summon other demons. It remains for 1 minute, until the adaru dies, or until its summoner dismisses it as an action.

Bonus Actions

Wicked Escape. The adaru casts Misty Step on itself, using Charisma as the spellcasting ability (spell save DC 16).
