Amphibious. The frogdragon can breathe air and water.
Legendary Resistance (3/Day). If the frogdragon fails a saving throw, it can choose to succeed instead.

Slippery Skin. The frogdragon has advantage on saving throws against being Grappled.
Speak with Frogs and Toads. The frogdragon can communicate to frogs and toads when it speaks in Bullywug.
Multiattack. The frogdragon can use its Uncanny Presence. It then makes four attacks: oe with its tongue, two with its bite and one with its tail.
Bite. Melee Weapon Attack: +10 to hit, reach 10 ft., one target. Hit: 16 (2d10 + 5) piercing damage plus 9 (2d8) acid damage, and if the target is Medium or smaller, it is Grappled (escape DC 18).
Tail. Melee Weapon Attack: +10 to hit, reach 15 ft., one target. Hit: 18 (2d12 + 5) bludgeoning damage.
Tongue. Ranged Weapon Attack: +10 to hit, reach 30/90 ft., one target. Hit: target is pulled up to 50 ft. toward the frogdragon.
Swallow. The frogdragon makes one bite attack against a Medium or smaller creature it is Grappling. If the attack hits, the target takes the bite’s damage, the target is swallowed, and the Grapple ends. While swallowed, the creature is Blinded and Restrained, it has Total Cover against attacks and other effects outside the frogdragon, and it takes 15 (4d6) acid damage at the start of each of the frogdragon’s turns.
If the frogdragon takes 25 damage or more on a single turn from a creature inside it, the frogdragon must succeed on a DC 17 Constitution saving throw at the end of that turn or regurgitate a swallowed creature, which fall Prone in a space within 10 feet of the frogdragon. If the frogdragon dies, a swallowed creature is no longer Restrained by it and can escape from the corpse by using 15 feet of movement, exiting Prone.
Uncanny Presence. Each creature of the frogdragon's choice that is within 120 feet of the frogdragon and aware of it must succeed on a DC 16 Wisdom saving throw or become Frightened for 1 minute. A creature can repeat the saving throw at the end of each of its turns, ending the effect on itself on a success. If a creature's saving throw is successful or the effect ends for it, the creature is immune to the frogdragon's Uncanny Presence for the next 24 hours.
Acid Spew (Recharge 5-6). The frogdragon belches acid in a 40-foot cone. Each creature in that area must make a DC 18 Dexterity saving throw, taking 56 (16d6) acid damage on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one.
The frogdragon can take 3 legendary actions, choosing from the options below. Only one legendary action option can be used at a time and only at the end of another creature's turn. The frogdragon regains spent legendary actions at the start of its turn.
Tongue. The frogdragon makes a tongue attack, then makes a bite attack against the target if it is within range.
Tail Attack. The frogdragon makes a tail attack.
Wing Attack (Costs 2 Actions). The frogdragon beats its wings. Each creature within 10 feet of the dragon must succeed on a DC 19 Dexterity saving throw or take 14 (4d6) bludgeoning damage and be knocked Prone. The frogdragon can then fly up to half its flying speed.
Description
Frogdragons have slippery bodies resembling somewhere between a frog and a dragon, and can belch corrosive bile at enemies. Once thought to be a magical experiment like owlbears, further study revealed them to be a gift from the gods to humans, blessing them with their presence. However, frogdragons have begun to be hunted to extinction for their hide, which is resistant to the cold.
Lair and Lair Actions
Frogdragons make their homes in the swamp, living in holes in the ground leading to massive center rooms, branching off into many smaller rooms. Their lairs usually have many slaves, all of which are honored to serve a frogdragon. Many bullywugs and frogs can be found around the location of a frogdragon's lair, attracted by its presence.
Lair Actions
On initiative count 20 (losing initiative ties), the frogdragon takes a lair action to cause one of the following effects. The frogdragoncan’t use the same effect two rounds in a row:
- Pools of slime ooze from the ground within 120 ft. of the frogdragon. Whenever a creature ends its turn with 0 ft. of movement in this area, they must succeed a DC 18 Dexterity saving throw or fall Prone.
- The frogdragon emits a loud croaking sound, magically summoning 2d4 giant frogs that appear in 1d4 rounds.
- The frogdragon spits acidic globs of bile at each creature within 30 ft. of it. Each creature in that area must succeed a DC 18 Dexterity saving throw or take 14 (4d6) acid damage.
Regional Effects
The region containing a legendary frogdragon’s lair is warped by the frogdragon’s magic, which creates one or more of the following effects:
- An abnormal amount of frogs, giant frogs, and bullywugs surround the area within 6 miles of the frogdragon's lair. The bullywugs have the neutral good alignment.
- Whenever a creature enters the area within 6 miles of for the first time, the frogdragon knows where they are at all times.
- Fog lightly obscures the land within 6 miles of the lair.
