Autumn's Shadow. Vyx has advantage on stealth and can’t be surprised, except by celestials or archfey.
Fey Ancestry. Advantage on saving throws against being charmed. Magic can’t put them to sleep.
Fade Away. If reduced to 0 HP, they may instantly cast dimension door as a reaction and vanish, leaving behind leaves and laughter (or bitterness).
Curse Conduit. Once per day, lay a particularly sticky curse that lasts until magically removed (ex: disadvantage on all Charisma checks until they confess a personal secret aloud).
Spellcasting. Vyx is a 10th-level spellcaster. Her spellcasting ability is Charisma (spell save DC 18, +8 to hit with spell attacks). Vyx has following Bard spells prepared:
Cantrips (at will): minor illusion, vicious mockery, thaumaturgy, ray of frost, faerie fire
3/day: bane, hold person, crown of madness, blur
1/day: bestow curse, polymorph, blight, slow
Curse of Regret. (Recharge 5–6) Target one creature within 60 ft. It must make a DC 16 Wisdom saving throw or be wracked with crushing regret: it can’t use reactions, has disadvantage on attacks, and must subtract 1d4 from all ability checks for 1 minute (save ends at end of each of its turns).
Rapier of Bronze Leaves. Melee Weapon Attack: +7 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 10 (1d8+4) piercing damage.
Trickster's Escape (Recharge 4–6): As a bonus action, Vyx can become insubstantial (like gaseous form) until the start of their next turn, or teleport up to 60 feet to a shadowy spot they can see.
Wicked Bargain. When an enemy strikes Vyx in melee, that enemy must make a DC 16 Wisdom saving throw or be cursed for 1 hour (disadvantage on saves vs. charm and fear, and randomly forgets the next minute of conversation if they fail any saving throw against enchantment magic during that hour).
Vyx can take 2 legendary actions per round, at the end of other creatures' turns.
Fey Step. Teleport up to 30 feet.
Chill of Autumn. One creature within 10 feet takes 7 (2d6) cold damage, and must make a DC 16 Wis save or be frightened until end of its next turn.
Memory Twist (Costs 2 Actions). Vyx forces one creature that failed a recent saving throw to forget the encounter entirely, being confused (as the spell confusion) until the end of the next turn.
Description
Vyx is the sly, smirking twin to Vix—quicker to laugh, slower to trust, and always one step ahead in the dance of deception. With a voice like falling leaves and a grin that rarely reaches his eyes, Vyx moves through the Feywild like a breeze through tall grass—graceful, unpredictable, and quietly dangerous. Draped in autumn hues and illusion-woven silks, he thrives on mischief, clever bargains, and watching others trip over their own assumptions. While Vix plays the maternal manipulator, Vyx is the sardonic observer, amused by chaos and never quite revealing where his true loyalties lie.
Vix and Vyx will never fight to the death against low-level PCs. If seriously threatened, they debilitate with spells or a curse, then escape. Their ‘combat’ usually means stacking social/magical penalties or weaving future story complications, not outright killing.
