Description

A creature born of a spirit who made a pact with a warlock to be given a body. Its form is constantly changing and shifting, one of multiple beasts combined into one. Normally a Familiar is a spirit in the form of a beast, summoned from the astral plane to serve a spellcaster. An Eldritch Familiar has desires more than just service, which leads them to rebel against their master and adopt unconventional forms to express themself. Because of this, Eldritch Familiars are often dismissed back to the astral plane and are rarely summoned. Alone in the endless silver sea of the astral plane, Eldritch Familiars make pacts to be free in exchange for their magic.
