Pack Instinct.
The dog has advantage on attack rolls against a creature if at least one of the dog’s allies is within 5 feet of the creature and the ally isn’t incapacitated.
Loyal Companion.
If a party member is reduced to 0 hit points within 30 feet of the dog, the dog can immediately use its reaction to rush to their side, placing itself between them and a hostile creature (moves up to its speed). This movement does not provoke opportunity attacks.
