Hollow Memory.
Bone-Ash Watchers were once acolytes. Their whispers echo half-remembered prayers. When reduced below 10 HP, they involuntarily chant the Order’s litany, granting advantage on saving throws against being turned to undead within 10 ft.
Ashen Cling.
When this creature is destroyed, its bone ash clouds the air. Until the end of your next turn, creatures within 5 ft. of where it died must succeed a DC 11 Constitution saving throw or be blinded until the end of their next turn.
Ash Claws. Melee Weapon Attack: +4 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target.
Hit: 7 (2d4 + 2) slashing damage. Target must succeed on a DC 11 Constitution saving throw or be Paralyzed until the end of its next turn.
This paralysis represents the Aether-burn of being touched by something half-in, half-out of sacred memory.
Description
Bone-Ash Watchers shuffle and crawl across the vault’s damp walls like spiders made of regret. They once prayed beneath stained glass to a god of order… but now recite broken fragments of scripture with cracked lips and ash-caked tongues.
Their skin is bone-pale, hairless, and always damp with cold sweat that never evaporates. They seek the breath of the living—not to end it, but to remember what it was.
