Actions

Multiattack: Laxiria uses his frightful presence, then he makes 1 bite attack and 2 claw attacks.

Bite. Melee Weapon Attack: +18 to hit, reach 15ft, one target. Hit: 27 (3d10 + 10) piercing damage plus 24 (8d8) necrotic damage and the target is poisoned for 1 minute.

Claw. Melee Weapon Attack: +18 to hit, reach 10ft, one target. Hit: 20 (3d6 + 10) slashing damage.

Frightful presence. Each creature of Laxiria’s choice that is within 240ft of it must make a DC 25 charisma saving throw or be frightened. On the start of each of the creatures turns it can repeat the saving throw. Any creature that succeeds the saving throw is immune to this action for 24 hours.

Death breath (Recharge 5-6). Each creature in a 90ft cone originated from Laxiria must make a DC 25 dexterity saving throw or take 60 (17d6) fire damage plus 60 (17d6) necrotic damage. The creatures take half damage on a success.

Bonus Actions

Teleport: Laxiria teleports 60ft to an unoccupied space.

Legendary Actions

Laxiria can take 3 legendary actions, only one at a time at the end of a creatures turn.

Detect. Laxiria makes a Wisdom, Perception check.

Description

Laxiria is an ancient red dragon who dueled Orcus and was defeated. Orcus then turned him into a dracolich and Laxiria has hated him ever since.

Lair and Lair Actions

Laxiria’s lair is in the desert of Caerci. It is a wasteland covered in bones of a looks like Tarrasque.

Lair Actions

On initiative count 20 (losing initiative ties), Laxiria takes a lair action to cause one of the following effects; Laxiria can’t use the same effect two rounds in a row:

  • Some bones of humanoids on the ground rise up. 3d6 skeletons spawn.
  • A sandstorm rises out of the ground. Each creature in a 20ft radius 90ft high cylinder makes a DC 20 dexterity saving throw or take 25 (8d6) bludgeoning damage and be stunned for a minute. On a success only half damage and the stun is canceled.

Regional Effects

The region containing Laxiria’s lair is Cursed, which creates the following effects:

  • Each undead in the area deals 10 (2d10) extra fire damage.
  • Every creature feels like they’re being watched.

If the Laxiria dies, these effects fade over the course of 1d10 Days.
