Crude Mimicry. The Dravem can mimic complex sounds it has heard, such as a whisper or chitter, however it can only replicate them in a twisted and disformed way. A hearer can discern the sounds are imitations with a successful DC 16 Wisdom (Insight) check.
Perfect Barrier: Any duplicate attack that has already targeted this creature this round that would target this creature is negated.
Multiattack. The Dravem makes two Bash attacks.
Bash. Melee Attack Roll: +6, reach 10 ft. Hit: 9 (1d10 + 4) Bludgeoning damage. If the target is a Huge or smaller creature, it has the Stunned condition.
Adapting Reflection: Any duplicate attack that has already hit this creature this turn is instead reflected for half rounded down damage to the nearest enemy target.
Description
Uta-Dravem is a flightless bird, covered in a oozy smooth skin, capable of reflecting even the most powerful magics. It has large clawed wings that it uses to walk, and use as shields when in danger. Often hiding under its wings to shield itself from incoming attacks, even using to bash nearby targets.
The Uta-Dravem is a failed experiment, that was created from magical scholars testing the Uta-Rack. Attempting to learn more about its unique biology, and how it reproduces.
They ended up creating a new species, which evolved to adapt to its ever changing testing environments. Unlike the Uta-Racks, the Dravem keeps its eyes, losing its ability to mimic nearby sounds effectively.
The Uta-Dravem has never been recorded eating. It does however ingest larges amounts of water at a given time, before going into a dormant state. Believed to be absorbing nearby magics, replenishing its magical coat.
