Description

The Ashfang Drake is a small, fire-touched dragonkin with cracked obsidian scales and faint orange glow seeping from the lines between its armor-like plating. Smoke rises constantly from its nostrils, and when it breathes, it smells of scorched stone and sulfur. Its wings are vestigial — stunted and singed — but it climbs and leaps with terrifying agility.

These creatures are often found in volcanic regions, ruined strongholds, or places once scorched by dragonfire. Though not as intelligent or powerful as true dragons, they are fiercely territorial and aggressive, often guarding nests of warm ash or hoards of blackened treasure.

Ashfang Drakes are rumored to descend from dragon hatchlings left behind in charred cradles of war. Over time, they adapted, their blood thickening with fire and fury.
