Hood extension. As a free action the rattlyr dragon can open or close its grand hood when it is open they gain a -5 bonus to stealth. Also if the rattlyr dragon is the direct target of a spell they can roll 1d6 and on a roll of a 6 they reflect the spell back to the caster.
Multi attack. The dragon makes three attacks: one with its bite and two with its claws and uses its rattle.
Bite. Melee Weapon Attack: +15 to hit, reach 15 ft., 1 target. Hit: 20 (3d8 + 8) piercing damage and the target must make a DC 21 constitution saving throw or take 42 (7d12) poison damage.
Claw. Melee Weapon Attack: +15 to hit, reach 10 ft., 1 target. Hit: 17 (3d6 + 8) slashing damage.
Tail. Melee Weapon Attack: +15 to hit, reach 15 ft., 1 target. Hit: 23 (3d10 + 8) bludgeoning damage.
Rattle. Any creature that can hear the rattlyr dragon within 90ft must make a dc 21 Wisdom save or be frightened of the rattlyr dragon for 1 minute. At the end of a creatures turn they can remake the save.
Fire breath (Recharges on 5/6). The Ancient rattlyr dragon exhales a 80ft cone of flame and each creature within range must make a dc 21 Dexterity saving throw or take 60 (20d6) fire damage. On a successful save the target takes half damage.
The ancient rattlyr dragon can take 3 legendary actions, choosing from the options below. Only one legendary action option can be used at a time, and only at the end of another creature’s turn. The ancient rattlyr dragon regains spent legendary actions at the start of its turn.
Detect (Costs 1 Actions). The dragon makes a Wisdom (Perception) check.
Tail attack (Costs 1 Actions). The dragon makes one tail attack.
Bashing burrow (Costs 2 Actions). Each creature within 15ft of the dragon must make a dc 21 Dexterity or take 18 (2d10 + 8) bludgeoning damage and be knocked prone and the dragon burrows half its burrowing speed.
