**Ember Absorption**: Fire and radiant damage instead heal Ashvour for half the amount dealt.
**Ash Drinker**: When Ashvour reduces a creature to 0 HP, it exhales a burst of ash in a 10 ft. radius. All creatures in the area must succeed on a DC 16 Constitution save or be blinded until the end of their next turn.
**Desertbound Terror**: While in arid or sun-blasted terrain, Ashvour’s speed increases by 10 ft., and it ignores difficult terrain.
**Cinderfang (Melee Weapon Attack)**: +9 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 3d10 + 5 piercing damage plus 2d6 necrotic damage.
**Hollow Howl (Recharge 5–6)**: Ashvour lets out a death-scorched howl. All creatures within 30 ft. must make a DC 16 Wisdom saving throw or be frightened for 1 minute. Creatures that fail by 5 or more also drop any held items and fall prone.
**Ashstorm Breath (1/day)**: 30 ft. cone of swirling ash and embers. Each creature in that area must make a DC 17 Dexterity saving throw or take 6d10 fire damage and be blinded for 1 minute. On a successful save, they take half damage and are not blinded.

**Molten Recoil**: When struck by a melee attack, Ashvour may release a burst of heatless fire. The attacker must make a DC 15 Dexterity saving throw or take 3d6 fire damage and be pushed 10 ft. away.

Description
Usually found in the Polluted Wastes, Ashvour are not scavengers but voracious hunters. They have been known to leave their normal desert habitat in order to prowl the surrounding countryside in search of food. Due to their corrupted nature, Ashvour are in a constant state of starvation. They are often seen in the company of one or more Death Dogs.
