Once per short rest, the Nexusborn can copy a spell or ability used against it during the last round. It chooses a target within 60 feet and replicates the effect at its original level or damage, using its own spell attack modifier: +7 to hit, save DC 17.
Multi attack The Nexusborn makes two Elemental Slam attacks.
Elemental Slam. Melee Weapon Attack: +9 to hit, reach 10 ft., 1 target. Hit: 17 (2d10 + 6) [force] damage.
1: Fire Burst – Target takes 1d8 fire damage and must succeed on a DC 15 Dex save or be ignited.

2: Frost Shock – Target must make a DC 15 Con save or be slowed (half speed) until the end of its next turn.

3: Wind Slash – Pushes the target 10 feet away.

4: Stone Crush – Target is knocked prone on a failed DC 15 Strength save.
Corrupted Zone (1/day).
The Nexusborn corrupts a 30-foot radius area of elemental energy (centered on itself or a point within 60 feet). Choose one:

Void Flame: All healing is halved.

Cracked Earth: Terrain becomes difficult and erupts with spikes (Dex save DC 15 or take 3d6 piercing).

Shifting Air: Ranged attacks suffer disadvantage.

Warped Water: All movement speed is halved.
This effect lasts for 1 minute or until dispelled.

The Nexusborn can take 2 legendary actions, choosing from the options below. Only one may be used at a time and only at the end of another creature’s turn. Regains all actions at the start of its turn.

When the Nexusborn drops below half HP for the first time, its crystal core shatters and reforms, granting it temporary resistance to all damage for 1 minute. During this time, it emits a 30 ft. radius Void Pulse field that causes all creatures to roll Constitution saves (DC 17) at the start of their turn or be blinded until the end of their turn

Void-Touched Nexusborn
A horror born from the corruption of Ixtal’s elemental heart.
Shaped like a towering, crystalline humanoid, the Nexusborn pulses with unstable elemental energy—stone, flame, water, and wind all swirling violently in its semi-transparent frame. Void ichor veils its limbs in writhing black tendrils, and a single eye glows in the center of its chest, watching with unnatural hunger.
It speaks in fractured echoes, mimicking the voices of those it’s killed… and those it fights. When it strikes, the elements betray their wielders—twisting the group's own powers against them in a terrifying mirror of their strengths.
