Description
An Attention Squirrel resembles a tiny squirrel, with luxuriously soft fur that shifts subtly in hue depending on who’s looking at it—usually resting somewhere between shimmering silver, warm chestnut, or pastel peach. Its impossibly round eyes sparkle with iridescent flecks, reflecting torchlight like a sky full of stars. Its oversized ears twitch toward voices, especially compliments, and its feathery tail curls into heart shapes when it’s content. A faint scent of lavender and spun sugar trails behind it.
When it blinks, it sometimes momentarily vanishes with a twinkling sound, only to reappear on a shoulder or nestled in a backpack flap, paws folded like a polite guest. Despite never speaking, it somehow always knows exactly when to tilt its head, blink slowly, or wrap its tail around a finger to elicit an “aww.”
Touching it floods a creature with warmth and calm—at first. Prolonged contact leaves one oddly distracted, prone to daydreaming or ignoring danger in favor of pampering their new friend.
