Traits

Reckless Attacks. The Void Goat can make attacks with no concern for its own life, gaining advantage on its attacks but all attacks on the Void Goat have advantage until the start of its next turn.

Power Word: Reconstruction. The Void Goat regains 20 hit points at the beginning of each of its turns and cannot die unless they are reduced to 0 hit points while this trait is disabled. the Void Goat regenerates lost or destroyed body parts in 1d4 days. If the Void Goat takes psychic damage, this trait ceases to function at the start of the Void Goat's next turn.

Power Word: Gluttony. The Void Goat emits a aura of famine with a 10 ft. radius around itself. Any creature of the Void Goats choice takes 7 (2d6) Force damage when they start their turn in the aura or enter the aura for the first time. A creature can only take this damage once per round.

Actions

Multi-Attack. The Elder Eater Goat makes 2 Power Word: Devour attacks.

Power Word: Devour. Melee Weapon Attack: +11 to hit, reach 15 ft., 1 target. Hit: 27 (6d6+6) and the creature needs to make a DC 20 Strength saving throw or be pulled 10 ft. towards the Void Goat.

Power Word: Reconstruction. Range 60 ft., 1 target. The creature regains 20 hit points and must make a Constitution Saving Throw DC 15 or take 5 force damage on the start of their turn for the next 3 turns. Using this ability disables the Power Word: Reconstruction trait for the next turn.

Spellcasting. The Void Goat is an 16th-level spellcaster. Its spellcasting ability is Intellegence (spell save DC 20, +11 to hit with spell attacks). The Void Goat has the following spells:

Cantrips (at will): eldritch blast, Absorb Elements (2nd lvl), mage hand, Arms of Hadar (3rd lvl), Blur, Phantasmal Force, Dispel Magic (5th lvl), Hunger of Hadar

3/Day: Summon Aberration (6th lvl), Dimension Door, Enervation

1/Day: Disintegrate, Astral Projection

Bonus Actions

Power Word: Feast. The Void Goat feasts upon any corpse within 20 ft. of it, gaining 2d10 temporary hit points if at full hit points and heal 2d10 if not at full hit points for each corpse consumed.

Reactions

Relentless Pursuit. If a target leaves the Void Goats' melee range it can use its reaction to move up to half of its movement speed. The Void Goat can use this reaction following an attack of opportunity.

Description

Eater Goats are hungry flesh-eating goats capable of eating almost anything and willing to eat nearly anything. Eater Goats are village-killing monsters, that are mostly found in the mountainous regions. Eater Goats are considered a high-priority threat because these packs of goats hunt relentlessly. Perhaps not deadly to most adventurers individually, Eater Goats instill fear in other monsters and people alike as they swarm over anything they consider food, sometimes including each other.

Difficult to kill because of their incredible tenacity, Eater Goats will bite even if only their decapitated head remains. Their jaws can tear through steel and Eater Goats are smart enough to even bypass tall walls with their incredible agility and jumping power.

Elder Eater Goats have lived for decades without becoming a Void Eater Goat, despite this they have grown larger and stronger than their Eater Goat brethren and typically lead their packs. Despite not evolving into Void Eater Goats, Elder Eater Goats can still evolve if they eat enough or consume particularly strong prey.

Eater Goats that consume enough flesh, particularly those of magical creatures, transform into a creature of myth known as the Void Goat. Extremely few sighting have ever been recorded of these creatures. Survivors of Void Goat attacks speak strange psychic abilities and how they consume their victims through the endless void that has replaced the inside of their mouth.
