Mist Form.
The remnant can enter another creature’s space and stop there. It can move through a space as narrow as 1 inch without squeezing.
Corrupting Mist.
At the start of a creature’s turn within 5 feet of the remnant, it must succeed on a DC 15 Constitution saving throw or take 10 (3d6) necrotic damage and be frightened of you until the start of its next turn. On a success, the creature takes half damage. The remnant may activate or suppress this aura as a bonus action.
Graveyard Warding.
The remnant cannot pass through wrought iron barriers, grave fences, or iron filings. These form impassable boundaries up to 1 mile in height.

The remnant shares your initiative and obeys your verbal commands (no action required). If you are incapacitated or slain, the remnant fades into mist.

Description
An Ascended Remnant is no longer a mere echo of death-it is a sovereign fragment of the Crooked Afterlife, clad in ghostlight and forged from the lingering will of a branded soul. Where lesser spirits fade, this one endures, bound to the Blood Hunter's command yet crackling with its own malevolent agency.
Wreathed in spectral armor and trailing moonlit mist, the Ascended Remnant floats like a death-echo unstilled, its form flickering between incorporeal haze and sharpened silhouette. A glaive-like wail lashes from its grasp, severing soul from sinew with each swing. The very air around it churns with whispered lamentations, a corrupting mist that seeps into living flesh and memory alike.
These beings are not summoned lightly, nor are they easily banished. They are remnants not just of the dead—but of something forgotten that remembers you.
