Description
The Lightning Dragon is one of the fastest dragons ever known. They are less intelligent than Blue Dragons, and are also distantly related. These dragons can control lightning and create strong electrical currents in the air when angered, increasing the damage of all lightning attack actions. They can fly at speeds of nearly 250 miles per hour. They usually hunt birdfolk and large mammals and reptiles. They are driven by power and can mind control weak minded mammals with there gaze.

A lightning dragon's lair is ussualy underneath a failed power plant and filled with the smell of rotting fish, there favorite food. their lairs are dangerous because of the massive amount of electrical currents an radiation.

On initiative count 3 (losing initiative ties), the lightning dragon takes a lair action to cause one of the following effects; the lightning dragon can’t use the same effect two rounds in a row:
- Electric control: all lightning attacks do +5 damage when the dragon is in his/her lair.

The region containing a legendary lightning dragon’s lair is high electrical current levels., which creates one or more of the following effects:
- all lightning and thunder attacks do +2 damage.
If the lightning dragon dies, these effects fade over the course of 10-13 days.
