Skills: Stealth +4 (they’re quiet when not squeaking)
False Cuteness: Until it attacks, a plushie appears to be a normal toy. A successful DC 13 Wisdom (Insight) check reveals it's… breathing?
Bite Hug. Melee Attack Roll: +4, reach 5 ft. Hit: 6 Piercing damage.
If the plushie is still latched at the start of the target’s next turn, they take 3 additional damage unless they use an action to pull it off
Stuffing Burst: When reduced to 0 HP, roll a d6. On a 5 or 6, the plushie detonates in a puff of magical stuffing. Creatures within 5 feet must succeed on a DC 12 Dexterity saving throw or take 2d6 force damage and are coated in glitter, giving disadvantage on Stealth for 10 minutes
Description
A Bitey Cuddles Plushie is a captivating creature, deceptively resembling a child's plush toy. Its form is small and round, roughly the size of a cat or small dog, covered in soft, brightly colored fur that ranges from neon pinks and blues to vibrant yellows and oranges. The fur shimmers and shifts in different lighting, creating an almost hypnotic effect. Large, expressive eyes, often made of shiny black buttons or intricate embroidery, seem to gaze innocently up at passersby. Small, stubby limbs end in surprisingly sharp, needle-like claws that are usually tucked neatly into the fur, almost invisible to the casual observer. A wide, friendly smile is stitched onto its face, though upon closer inspection, tiny, razor-sharp fangs can be glimpsed within.
