Traits

Drop Shock Insertion. The ODST can survive orbital insertion using a drop pod. Once per long rest, the ODST can use Feather Fall on themselves as a reaction (flavored as retro-thruster control).

Steely Nerves. The ODST has advantage on saving throws against fear, being paralyzed, or stunned.

Combat Tactics. When the ODST hits a creature with a weapon attack, they can move up to 10 feet without provoking opportunity attacks.

Suppressing Fire (Recharge 5–6). As an action, the ODST can force enemies in a 30-foot cone to make a DC 13 Wisdom saving throw or be frightened until the end of their next turn.

Hit: 5 (1d8 + 1) slashing damage.

Frag Grenade (2/Day). The ODST throws a grenade up to 60 ft. Each creature within 10 feet of the explosion must make a DC 14 Dexterity saving throw, taking 17 (5d6) fire damage on a failed save, or half on success.

Reactions

Cover Reflex.
When a creature the ODST can see targets it with a ranged weapon attack, the ODST gains a +2 bonus to AC against that attack.


Return Fire.
When a creature within 60 feet misses the ODST with a ranged weapon attack, the ODST can make one ranged weapon attack against that creature.
