Description
Tactics
Allosaurus Strikers harass prey while the larger Allospinus leads the assault. They circle, flank, and trip targets so their stronger kin can finish them off. In battle, they prioritize wounded or prone enemies.
🦖 Lore: The Allosaurus Striker
“It’s not the roar you should fear — it’s the silence before the charge.”
—Zhen, Helldiver Scout Captain
The Allosaurus Striker is a regional variant of the classic Allosaurus, found exclusively in packs led by the apex hybrid known as the Allospinus. Unlike typical Allosaurs, Strikers have adapted over generations of hunting alongside this monstrous alpha to favor speed, coordination, and tactical aggression over brute force.
Still a Large creature, the Striker is leaner, faster, and more intelligent than its wilder cousins. These dinosaurs are the scouts, outrunners, and shock troops of the Allospinus pack — the first to engage, harass, and flank prey while the heavier members move in for the kill.
Despite lacking the unnatural traits of their hybrid leader, the Strikers are no less terrifying. Their claws are sharper, their reflexes honed from years of pack warfare, and their eyes gleam with cold cunning. They're often observed working in tandem, executing pincer maneuvers and using terrain to isolate targets.
In Savaria, the sight of a Striker racing across an open plain usually means death is just behind it.
