Traits

Stance Change. When you attack, you switch your strength and dexterity score with you armor class, switching you from your Shield Form into your Blade Form. In your Blade Form, you can add your strength to your roll to hit for melee attacks, or dexterity to your ranged attacks 10 times per combat. You will return to your shield form at the end of combat.

Actions

Multi-attack. You can attack 2 times with Sacred Sword.

Sacred Sword. Melee Attack Roll: +4, reach 5 ft. Hit: 6 (2d6 + 5) Slashing damage. You slash the target with your body. If you attacked twice and both attacks hit the same target, the target gets knock prone.

Power Trick. Ranged Enchantment Spell. Range (30 ft.)

You suggest a course of activity (limited to a sentence or two) and magically influence a creature you can see within range (it doesn't need to understand you) and can hear you. Creatures that can’t be charmed are immune to this effect. The suggestion must be worded in such a manner as to make the course of action sound reasonable. Asking the creature to stab itself, throw itself onto a spear, immolate itself, or do some other obviously harmful act ends the spell.

The target must make a Wisdom saving throw. On a failed save, it purses the course of action you described to the best of its ability. The suggested course of action can continue for the entire duration. If the suggested activity can be completed in a shorter time, the spell ends when the subject finishes what it was asked to do.

You can also specify conditions that will trigger a special activity during the duration. For example, you might suggest that a knight give her warhorse to the first beggar she meets. If the condition isn’t met before the spell expires, the activity isn’t performed.

If you or any of your companions damage the target, the spell ends.

Hyperbeam. Recharge (5). Ranged Spell Attack Roll: +1, reach 60 ft. Hit: 6 (7d6 + 5) Force damage. You fire a powerful beam at a target within range. You cannot switch form the turn this is used.

Reactions

King's Shield. (8/day). You return to your Shield Form, swapping your armor class with your strength and dexterity score if you were in your Blade Form. The creature that was attacking you must roll another attack roll. If they hit, you take no damage and they have disadvantage on their next 2 attacks. If they miss, you can choose to make an attack of opportunity or disengage

Description

Aegislash is a Pokemon whose body resembles a golden sword. The edge of the steel blade is white and somewhat serrated near the tip. Where the blade meets the hilt is a single, purple eye with a white slit pupil surrounded by black space. The handle forms a thick, striated spike. Two cloth-like arms emerge from the sides of the hilt. Each arm is primarily black and transitions to a pale purple with a slight swirl pattern at the tip. The sash-like arms split into four tassels at the tips. It always carries an ornate shield in at least one of its arms. The shield is gold and has three brown rings surrounded by black in the middle. It also has a brown rim with three lines radiating toward the center.

Aegislash possesses incredible spectral powers, enabling it to manipulate people and Pokémon alike. It once used this power to force people and Pokémon to build a kingdom to its liking. It is also able to detect the innate qualities of leadership. Legend has it that whoever it recognizes as a worthy leader with this power is destined to become king. In fact, this Pokémon has attended and served generations of kings. However, an Aegislash was rumored to have drained the life of one king, causing his kingdom to fall alongside him.

Forms

Aegislash has two forms: Shield Form and Blade Form.

Aegislash is capable of change forms depending on what moves it uses. Defensive moves are performed in its Shield Form while offensive moves are performed in its Blade Form.

Shield Form

In this form, it holds its shield up in front of its blade with both of its arms crossed behind the shield. The centers of the rings on its shield are white. Its Shield Form can block and reduce the damage of any attack. It accomplishes this through a combination of its steel body and a force field made from its spectral power.

Blade Form

In this form, it carries its shield in its left arm and exposes its blade, which it uses to slash its opponents. The Blade Forme can use the strength and weight of its blade to cut through any opponent. It can also use magic-based attacks to strike foes from a distance.
