Aura of Innocence.
Enemies within 20 ft. of Baby must succeed on a DC 23 Wisdom saving throw or hesitate to strike, imposing disadvantage on their first attack each round.
Twisting Grace.
Opportunity attacks against Baby are always at disadvantage, and he can move through enemy spaces as though they were difficult terrain.
Fan Favorite.
When Baby drops below half hit points, he immediately regains 100 hit points as a wave of unseen “cheering” empowers him. (1/long rest)
Legendary Resistance (3/Day).
If Baby fails a saving throw, he can choose to succeed instead.
Multiattack.
Baby makes four Ribbon Whip attacks.
Ribbon Whip (Melee or Ranged Weapon Attack).
+17 to hit, reach 15 ft. (melee) or 30 ft. (ranged), one target. Hit: 24 (4d6 + 10) slashing plus 21 (6d6) radiant. The whip coils with dazzling pink light, and the target must succeed on a DC 23 Charisma saving throw or be charmed until the start of Baby’s next turn.
Kawaii Burst (Recharge 5–6).
Baby releases a devastating pulse of pink and violet energy. All enemies within 40 ft. must succeed on a DC 23 Constitution saving throw or take 72 (16d8) radiant damage and be blinded until the end of their next turn. On a success, they take half damage and are not blinded.
Adorable Execution (1/day).
Baby chooses one creature charmed by him. That creature must succeed on a DC 23 Wisdom saving throw or be stunned for 1 minute as its mind collapses under the overwhelming mix of beauty and terror. While stunned in this way, Baby can choose to automatically deal a critical Ribbon Whip attack at the start of his next turn.
Baby can take 3 legendary actions, only one at a time and only at the end of another creature’s turn.
-
Ribbon Lash. Baby makes one Ribbon Whip attack.
-
Twirl Step. Baby teleports up to 20 ft. in a pirouette of light.
-
Dazzle Strike (Costs 2 Actions). One enemy within 30 ft. must succeed on a DC 23 Wisdom save or be charmed until the end of Baby’s next turn.
The Idol’s Finale (Recharges after a Long Rest)
When Baby drops to 0 hit points, he instead restores himself to 215 hit points. His Ribbon Whip splits into multiple strands of pure radiant energy, giving him advantage on all attacks. His Aura of Innocence expands to 60 ft., and enemies charmed by him now also take 18 (4d8) radiant damage at the start of their turn.
Description
Lore: Baby, the Femboy Idol
Origins
Legends say that Baby was not forged in war like Jinu, nor born from shadow like Abby, nor sculpted from desire like Romance, nor conjured from riddles like Mystery. Instead, Baby emerged from the wish of mortals who longed for beauty untouched by corruption. That wish mingled with the chaos of the fiendish realms, and from it came a figure both delicate and devastating.
Some stories whisper that Baby was once a mortal performer, a child prodigy whose innocence captivated all who saw him. When demons slaughtered his troupe, he stood untouched in the carnage, not from strength, but because the fiends hesitated. None could strike him — his presence disarmed even the cruelest hearts. From that night onward, Baby became something more than mortal, a being who weaponized charm, cuteness, and hesitation into tools of survival.
Personality
Baby embodies contradictions. Playful yet deadly, gentle yet merciless, their every gesture blurs the line between innocence and threat. Unlike Romance, who openly seduces, or Abby, who flaunts his menace, Baby disarms by appearing harmless — a soft voice, a gentle smile, and graceful movements that seem more suited for a stage than a battlefield.
But when the mask falls, the transformation is terrifying. Baby delights in the moment foes realize too late that the “sweetest” of the Saja Boys is also one of the deadliest. Even then, Baby rarely kills with cruelty — instead, they regard combat as a performance, one that must be beautiful, dazzling, and unforgettable.
Powers and Abilities
-
Aura of Innocence. Enemies hesitate, unable to bring themselves to strike at Baby until it is too late. This hesitation is often fatal.
-
Ribbon Whip. Baby’s signature weapon, a radiant ribbon that lashes with elegance, tearing through both flesh and spirit.
-
Kawaii Burst. An explosion of light and charm that blinds and burns enemies in a brilliant spectacle.
-
Adorable Execution. His most feared ability, where Baby paralyzes a foe with pure fascination — then destroys them in a single, devastating flourish.
Role Among the Saja Boys
Baby is the disruptor and heart-stealer of the group. While Jinu smashes with claws, Abby strikes from shadows, Romance ensnares the heart, and Mystery bends reality, Baby makes enemies falter — buying precious moments for the others to strike. He is the finisher, often swooping in when foes are weakened and delivering the final, dazzling blow that seals the performance.
Among the Saja Boys, Baby is both little sibling and secret weapon. The others tease him for his delicate appearance, but they also know demons fear his presence most. To strike at Baby is to risk hesitation — and in battle against the Saja Boys, even a moment’s pause means death.
Legends and Myths
-
The Dance of Hesitation. A story tells of an entire demon company frozen in place as Baby walked among them. Not one dared lift a blade, and by the time their hesitation broke, the rest of the Saja Boys had slaughtered them all.
-
The Ribbon of Light. Some say Baby’s ribbon was woven from strands of celestial hair, gifted by a forgotten god. Each lash of it hums with divine resonance, blinding mortals and demons alike.
-
The Idol’s Death. Prophecies claim Baby cannot truly die — for innocence is reborn with every new generation. If Baby falls, another will rise, bearing the same delicate beauty and devastating presence.
Reputation
To mortals, Baby is both an inspiration and a danger. Tales of his beauty spread like wildfire, drawing would-be followers who mistake his innocence for mercy. To demons, however, Baby is the cruelest of the Saja Boys — because his power forces them to hesitate, and hesitation is death when fighting the Saja Boys.
Lair and Lair Actions
At initiative count 20 (losing ties), Baby can use one of the following:
-
Stage Lights of Love. The battlefield floods with pink and violet light, forcing all enemies to succeed on a DC 23 Con save or be blinded until next round.
-
Crowd’s Adoration. Baby regains 30 hit points as faint cheering echoes across the stage.
-
Spotlight Step. One enemy of Baby’s choice is pulled 15 ft. toward him in a beam of radiant light.
