Staff of the Greenwood (Recharges after a Short or Long Rest). You can cast Cure Wounds (level 1 version) from the staff. When you do so, the next time you hit with an attack before the end of your next turn, the target takes an extra 1d8 Necrotic damage. This property can be used two times, regaining all expended uses after a short rest.
Innate Spellcasting. The behtu’s innate spellcasting ability is Charisma (spell save DC 14). The behtu can innately cast the following spells, requiring no material components:
At will: druidcraft
2/short rest: cure wounds
3/day each: entangle, goodberry
1/day each: barkskin, pass without trace, shillelagh
Multiattack. The behtu makes two attacks.
Staff of the Greenwood. Melee Weapon Attack: +5 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 6 (1d6 + 3) bludgeoning damage.
Rock. Ranged Weapon Attack: +5 to hit, range 25/50 ft., one target. Hit: 6 (1d6 + 3) bludgeoning damage.
Witchy Whisper (2/Short Rest). As a bonus action, you can channel the Greenwood curse to a creature within 30 feet. The target must make a DC14 Wisdom saving throw or be cursed. While cursed the creature must reduce all attacks, saving throws, and ability checks by 1d4.
Description
Babi comes from a family of guardians. Sworn to protect the woods and the innocent critters within. But, since the curse took hold centuries ago, they have found it troublesome to combat. When it was once hunters and predators, now they face undead horrors, blight poisoning, and a rage-inducing illness turning peaceful animals into rabid beasts.his collective’s numbers dwindled until only Babi remained. Still Oathsworn to their duties, they watched over the woods helping where they could. And that is when they heard the cries of a raven in the throws of death against an undead giant. Babi knew there was nothing they could do against the monster, and lowered their head in shame. But would lift it in awe, when a small goblin wielding a stick bent the giant to her will, and commanded nature itself to destroy the evil creature. Babi would follow the druid to her hovel. Where they would watch and learn as she would train her magical abilities. And with a stick of their own, Babi too would learn how to whisper to the woods.
