Toxic air- If Bonding Ooze is out of its jar and not assimilated with anyone, it dies after 30 seconds. In this time, the ooze tries to return to its jar or assimilate with a host.
Assimilate. Bonding Ooze targets a creature in its space. The effected creature must make a DC 18 CON save (If unwilling). on a success, the creature takes 2d6 necrotic damage and rejects the ooze, and the ooze falls to the ground. on a failure, the ooze is absorbed into the body. The afflicted creature has their strength and constitution increased by 1, and has the following benefits:
- As a bonus action, The creature can force the ooze onto the surface of their skin, causing their hand to be covered with the black ooze. The creature's unarmed strikes become the +1 weapons, that deal 1d8. the ooze has 3 forms-
- Hammer- the ooze forms into a large mallet, growing heavier. It deals bludgeoning damage, and It also has the Seige property. (it deals double damage to objects and structures)
- Spiked- The ooze expands into long tendrils, like extended fingers. it deals peircing damage, and has reach. (10ft range instead of 5ft)
- Claw- The ooze grows into a giant hand. It does Slashing damage, and has advantage on grapple checks and athletic checks for climbing.
The Ooze's host also has the following attack action-
- Blood shard- The ooze takes the host's blood and condenses it into a projectile. It is a finesse attack, range 30/60ft, and the target takes 3d6 piercing damage. The host takes 1d6 slashing, plus 1d6 slashing for each time this attack has been used. A long rest resets the host damage, as the blood starts to flow normally.
Description
Created artificially, This Ooze seems to enhance ones abilities. This seems to be the only specimen i have gathered, and cannot replicate it. it has no other abilities that i can see, and was found in an abandoned workshop. after killing the effected creature, the Ooze will stay inside of it until it sees another potential host. any damage dealt to it almost destroys it, and it could become more dangerous if there are more of its kind.
