Vengeful Strikes. Ashuun deals an extra 1d8 damage when attacking a creature that has damaged him since the start of his last turn.

Bonus Actions

Blade Hook (Recharge 5–6). Ashuun makes a special attack with his hooked blade against a Large or smaller creature within 10 feet. On a hit, the creature is pulled 5 feet toward him and takes an extra 1d8 slashing damage.

Description

Ashuun carries himself with the weight of a legacy he never asked for. His skin is a pale, almost sickly green, a hue softened further by the years but forever marked by what was done to him as a child. Jagged scars, warped and pitted, stretch across his arms, neck, and jawline — the cruel remains of green dragon acid that nearly claimed his life in his youth. The scars don’t just mar his flesh; they seem to shape the way he moves, every gesture just slightly careful, as if his body remembers the burn.

His hair, long and loose, falls in tangled waves of dull silver streaked with black, catching light like tarnished metal. It frames a face sharpened by endurance: high cheekbones, sunken eyes with a faint glow of greenish-gold in their depths, and a mouth that too often sets itself into a hard, thoughtful line. He rarely smiles, and when he does, it’s brief — as though he’s not sure he deserves to.

Ashuun wears a tattered cloak, the edges frayed from years of wear, clasped by an old sigil of Leviathan’s clan — the metal dull, weathered, but carefully preserved. To him, it’s less ornament and more shield, a reminder of where he comes from and the father he is still trying to understand. Beneath the cloak, he dons a dented breastplate that bears the marks of countless skirmishes; it’s not polished or pristine, but it has kept him alive.

Despite his scars, there is something quietly commanding about him. His presence is like the calm before a storm: silent, heavy, and oddly magnetic. When he speaks, his voice is low and steady, like waves breaking against stone — a tempered echo of Leviathan himself.

DM/Player Flavor Notes:

  • His scar tissue occasionally itches or burns when green dragon magic is nearby, a phantom pain that never leaves him.

  • The clan sigil is one of the last heirlooms linking him directly to Leviathan’s lineage.

  • Though he looks hardened, Ashuun’s eyes betray a core of deep empathy — he knows suffering too well to be blind to it in others.
