Description
The Lord of Murder stands 30 ft tall with 7 ft long horns. Holding his dagger in his claws and the skin over his body pulled over. His grotesque form his enough to kill those from the mere sight of it. Bhaal has lived many centuries, so he has amassed a lot of power, but this has caused him to become careless usually ending being the cause of his defeat. Bhaal has children across the Forgotten Realms called Bhaalspawn, and they either fight each other or work together to bring back their father. To be accepted back to the mortal plane Bhaal needs a vessel Bhaalspawn to house his essence, a process that always end in death
Lair and Lair Actions
On initiative count 20 (losing initiative ties), Bhaal can take a lair action to cause one of the following magical effects; Bhaal can’t use the same effect two rounds in a row:
- Bhaal calls forth the spirits of creatures that he has murdered in the past and send them to deal with unsavory guests. All creatures must make a DC 22 Constitution saving throw. On a failed saving throw, the creature takes 24 (8d6) necrotic damage, and Bhaal heals half the damage the creature takes. On a success the creature takes half and Bhaal doesn't heal.
- A pulse of necrotic energy bursts out from Bhaal's Altar chilling those caught in it to the core. A creature must make a DC 22 Wisdom saving throw or gain vulnerability to the next attack they take. On a success nothing happens.
- Screams holler out into the air causing even the bravest of souls to cover their ears. A creature must make a DC 22 Constitution saving throw or 18(6d6) force damage. On a success you take no damage.
