Description
Arambourgiania was a massive azhdarchid pterosaur from the Late Cretaceous with a very long, slender neck and an estimated wingspan of 7 to 10 meters (23 to 33 ft), though some earlier estimates were larger. Its fragmentary remains indicate a lightweight, hollow-boned structure, suggesting it was adapted for soaring and possibly hunting on the ground or in marine environments, similar to modern storks but potentially with a greater focus on aquatic prey given its discovery in marine deposits.
