Keen Smell. The Thylacoleo  has advantage on Wisdom (Perception) checks that rely on smell.

Pounce. If the Thylacoleo moves at least 20 feet straight toward a creature and then hits it with a claw attack on the same turn, that target must succeed on a DC 13 Strength saving throw or be knocked prone. If the target is prone, the tiger can make one bite attack against it as a bonus action.

Actions

Bite. Melee Weapon Attack: +5 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 8 (1d10 + 3) piercing damage.

Claw. Melee Weapon Attack: +5 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 7 (1d8 + 3) slashing damage.

Spider Climb

Casting Time: 1 action

Range: Touch

Target: One willing creature you touch

Components: V S M (A drop of bitumen and a spider)

Duration: Up to 1 hour

Until the spell ends, one willing creature you touch gains the ability to move up, down, and across vertical surfaces and upside down along ceilings, while leaving its hands free. The target also gains a climbing speed equal to its walking speed.

Description

Thylacoleo is a moderately strong mount, and its ability to climb trees and jump long distances makes it useful for traversal. As such, developing adventurers often tame it. Small raiding parties particularly favor Thylacoleo, as it is well suited to ambushes!

Thylacoleo ("pouch") is an extinct genus of carnivorous marsupials that lived in Australia from the late Pliocene to the Late Pleistocene (until around 40,000 years ago), often known as marsupial lions. They were the largest and last members of the family Thylacoleonidae, occupying the position of apex predator within Australian ecosystems. The largest and last species, Thylacoleo carnifex approached the weight of a massive bear or cat. The estimated average weight for the species ranges from 101 to 130 kg (223 to 287 lb)
