Traits

Abomination. For each of its turns that it is in combat, the choir man performs an additional attack on its future turns. This effect resets at the end of combat.

Bell Ringer. When the choir man is struck by any attack that deals Bludgeoning, Force or Thunder damage, it rings with an ear piercing frequency. Each creature within 30 feet of it must succeed a DC 14 Constitution saving throw or take 4 (1d8) Thunder damage and become Deafened until the end of their next turn.

Masochism. Each attack that deals damage to the choir man grants an additional attack that the choir man can perform on its next turn.

Scarring. Each attack that deals damage to the choir man makes all future attacks deal an additional 3 damage of the same damage type.

Actions

Multiattack. The choir man makes one of the following attacks and then one Toll attack.

Crush. Melee Attack Roll: +11, reach 10 ft., a creature that is Huge or smaller. Hit: 20 (4d6 + 6) Bludgeoning damage.

Holy Beam. A pillar of light shoots down from above one creature within 20 feet of the choir man, the creature must succeed a DC 15 Dexterity saving throw or take 15 (1d20 + 5) Radiant damage.

Toll. Wisdom saving throw: DC 17, all creatures within 40 feet of the choir man. Failure: Each creature takes 13 (2d6) Thunder damage.

Bonus Actions

Divine Ringing. Wisdom saving throw: DC 18, a creature the choir man chooses within 70 feet of itself. Failure: The creature falls under divine protection for 1 minute; it cannot receive damage if any of the creature's allies without the same effect are within 200 feet of itself, the damage is instead taken by each such ally within range. Damage reduction or negation such as an Immunity can only be used by the creature that is transferring the damage to another. The target then takes 3d8 Radiant damage.

Reactions

Paralyzing Song. If a creature is not Deafened, is within 100 feet of the choir man and is moving away from the choir man, the choir man can use its reaction to sing a tune that is audible to only that creature. The creature must succeed a DC 20 Wisdom saving throw or become Paralyzed until the end of its next turn. On a successful save the creature heals 8 Hit Points and becomes Blinded until the end of its next turn.

Description

A muscular grey humanoid inside a massive golden bell with only its legs visible, the bell hangs from a rope that seems to fade away a few feet above it. This creature can only be created by drawing "The Holy Hanged Man" card from the deck "Manny's Twisted Tarot". The choir man produces a heavenly tone from the bell section of its body that can be heard from up to 400 feet away. They always seek for their target, disregarding anything that does not hinder them in their efforts.
