Description
The book wraith is a malevolent spirit that haunts the pages of a cursed tome. It is a medium-sized creature that appears as a dark, shadowy figure wreathed in flickering flames. The book wraith is immune to many forms of damage, including physical attacks and necrotic and psychic damage. It is resistant to cold, fire, lightning, and poison damage, and has advantage on saving throws against spells and magical effects.
The book wraith attacks by draining the life force from its target, dealing necrotic damage and potentially inflicting a deadly curse. It can also move through solid objects and has a limited form of flight, making it difficult to pin down. The book wraith can understand the languages of its creator but cannot speak.
