Astral Displacement. The Astral Stalker projects shifting afterimages in the void. Attack rolls against it have disadvantage. If it is hit by an attack, this trait is disrupted until the end of its next turn. This trait is also disrupted while the Stalker is incapacitated or has a speed of 0.
Void Step. When the Stalker takes the Dash action, it can teleport up to 20 ft. to an unoccupied space it can see instead of moving normally.
Planar Predator. The Stalker has advantage on Wisdom (Perception) checks made to detect creatures that are invisible or ethereal.
Multiattack. The Astral Stalker makes two attacks with its tentacles.
Tentacle. Melee Weapon Attack: +6 to hit, reach 10 ft., one target. Hit: 11 (2d6+4) psychic damage
Astral Lurch (Recharge 5–6). The Astral Stalker emits a surge of warped void energy. Each creature of the Stalker’s choice within 10 feet must succeed on a DC 13 Wisdom saving throw or take 10 (3d6) psychic damage and be stunned until the start of the Stalker's next turn. On a success, a creature takes half damage and isn't stunned.
Description
The Astral Stalker is a panther-like aberration born of the void between planes. Its sleek, star-speckled body shimmers like a living constellation, and two long, serpentine tentacles tipped with void energy lash from its shoulders. Eyes of pale blue flame pierce the darkness, and its form flickers with astral distortion, making it hard to tell where the beast truly stands. Predators of the endless void, Astral Stalkers slip between folds of reality to hunt anything that wanders too long beneath the silver skies.
