Description
A horse sized creature used by elite troops and wealthy individuals. The size of a warhorse but with a long tail, fitted with a special saddle that goes over their spined back. Trained to be fearless in battle, they support their rider with powerful claw attacks and flame breath. A squad of chargers ridden by lance-wielding warriors will put most adversaries to flight.
Commonly known as sand dragons, they come in several forms ranging from bird-like creatures to huge titans. While sometimes found in the wild they are mostly domesticated as riding or draft beasts, and are also trained to be guard animals. All share a similar appearance; a dragon-like body with a scaled hide, a long snout with sharp teeth, a long tail, four legs with powerful claws and golden eyes with slit pupils. All have the intelligence equivalent of a domestic dog, and can be commanded mentally by an attuned owner.
