Description
From the same breeding stock and similar in every way to Amotrix Scouts and Chargers, no one knows why they never get bigger than a small dog. What they lack in size they make up for with intelligence. They are popular as familiars, also as guards to alert owners of intruders. The Kit's flame breath while less powerful than their larger brethren can cause problems when they accidentally set something on fire. Some have rather unkindly given them the nickname 'sand chickens'.
Commonly known as sand dragons, they come in several forms ranging from bird-like creatures to huge titans. While sometimes found in the wild they are mostly domesticated as riding or draft beasts, and are also trained to be guard animals. All share a similar appearance; a dragon-like body with a scaled hide, a long snout with sharp teeth, a long tail, four legs with powerful claws and golden eyes with slit pupils. All have the intelligence equivalent of a domestic dog, and can be commanded mentally by an attuned owner.
