Traits

VMD. The ZPI-64X is a pilotable vehicle, and can be controlled by a creature able to comprehend at least one language and an available hand. Alternatively, the tank can be piloted remotely by a creature with a telepathy distance. It can be entered or exited with 10 feet of movement speed. The tank does not roll for checks relying on strength, and instead uses its strength score.

Immutable Form. The ZPI-64X is immune to any power, spell, or effect that would alter its form.

Arcotechnic Siege Engine. The ZPI-64X does double damage to objects and structures. All damage dealt by the tank is considered magical for purposes of overcoming resistances and immunities.

Cloaking. If the ZPI-64X does not move or take any actions on its turn, the ZPI-64X becomes invisible. Moving or taking an action other than charging ends this invisibility.

Actions

Hardwire Charge. The ZPI-64X gains 2 charge, to a maximum of 3.

Psionic Boltgun. Ranged Weapon Attack: +17 to hit, reach 200 ft., 1 target. Hit: 22 (5d8) Piercing damage + 14 (4d6) Psychic damage.

Dissonance Pulse. Hostile creatures within a 30 foot emanation of the ZPI-64X must make a DC 15 Wisdom saving throw or take 16 (3d6) psychic damage and be frightened for one minute, moving away from any creatures hostile to it for the duration. At the end of each of its turns, a creature can repeat this saving throw, ending the effect on itself.

Ballistic Cannon (Requires 1 Charge). The ZPI-64X chooses a point within 200 feet of it. Creatures within 15 feet of that point must make a DC 18 Dexterity saving throw or take 36 (8d8) Fire damage + 18 (4d8) Thunder damage and be sent 15 feet away from the point chosen, landing prone. On a success, they take half damage and do not land prone.

Leveller (Requires 3 Charge). The ZPI-64X chooses a point it can see within 500 feet of it to obliterate with a psychoseismic explosion. Creatures within a 50 foot sphere of that point must make a DC 22 Dexterity saving throw or take 55 (10d10) Force damage + 38 (6d12) psychic damage and be sent 60 feet away from the origin of the sphere, landing prone and stunned until the end of their next turn. On a success, a creature takes half damage and is not stunned. The 50 foot sphere is obliterated if of mundane material, and the surrounding hundred feet of ground is considered difficult terrain as it cracks and continues to rumble.

Bonus Actions

Charge Cannon. The ZPI-64X gains 1 charge, to a maximum of 3.

Ram. The ZPI-64X moves up to its speed in a straight line, destroying any nonmagical obstacles in its way and forcing creatures to make a DC 16 Dexterity saving throw, taking 22 (4d10) bludgeoning damage and falling prone on a failure. On a success, a creature may choose a side of the tank's path to move to, ending 5 feet out of the tank's path.

Reactions

Reject Ownership. When a creature attempts to pilot it remotely, the ZPI-64X may use this reaction to instantly become immune to the effect and deal 11 (2d10) psychic damage to the creature that attempted to control it.

Description

The apex of Thanatoran design, the Zakótian Psychic Implements model 64 Experimental "Pacifier" Class arcano-techno engine is a behemoth of a tank. Designed to shift the tide of  large-scale battles and single-handedly quell insurgencies, the ZPI-64X is an experimental tank featuring a dual-barrel rotary cannon, an automated psychic railgun turret, the first military grade psychic pulser, and more engine power than any other motorized vehicle in the Thanatoran arsenal. Incredibly costly, labor-intensive, and time-consuming to produce, these prototypes are few and far-between, but Thanatora is eager to employ their first field tests.
