The ghost’s game statistics are the same, except it uses the possessed target’s Speed, as well as the target’s Strength, Dexterity, and Constitution modifiers.

The possession lasts until the body drops to 0 Hit Points or the ghost leaves as a Bonus Action. When the possession ends, the ghost appears in an unoccupied space within 5 feet of the target, and the target is immune to this ghost’s Possession for 24 hours.

Success: The target is immune to this ghost’s Possession for 24 hours.

Description

Anima is a judge meant to reign in problematic players, every time a player kills an innocent npc for no reason, purposely sabotages the party, meta games, etc. Anima gains a +1 modifier to any ability or stats of the DM's choice. her base stats are similar to a standard ghost but get's stronger the more the player ****s around. She is a slow and methodical hunter who will stalk her prey for days or weeks on end, appearing in the corner of your eye, singing a haunting lullaby in the night, or even haunting your dreams all as a warning to stop whatever it is you're doing that is ruining the fun for the rest of the players

Feel free to use her to help with roll play or engage with player backstories (ex. a player killed an innocent family when following orders and is full of guilt and Anima haunts them with visions of said family) but please don't use her to punish the party for slightly deviating from your vision of how the campaign should go. She is supposed to be a thematic way to keep players engaged in the story and their fellow players, not a stick for DMs to punish players with
