Traits

Two Weapon Fighting:  You can add your ability modifier to your offhand damage.

Improved Initiative: Gain advantage on initiative checks.

Golden Tattoos: Adimarchus' golden tattoos grant him complete immunity to critical hits and sneak attacks.

Madness: Adimarchus uses his Charisma modifier on Wisdom saves instead of his Wisdom modifier, and is immune to confusion and insanity effects.

Shroud Alignment: Spells and spell-like abilities with the good descriptor treat Adimarchus as if his alignment were good. Magic items are similarly fooled.

Weakness: Adimarchus has vulnerability to Cold Iron.

Mind Blank:
Adimarchus is immune to psychic damage and any effect that would sense his emotions or read his thoughts, divination spells, and the charmed condition. This even foils wish spells and spells or effects of similar power used to affect the target’s mind or to gain information about the target.

Lie in State:
If both of Adimarchus' forms die, Adimarchus (in his current form) disappears after 24 rounds. The body reappears dead but intact on Occipitus, his realm in the Abyss. Any equipment Adimarchus was wearing or carrying at the moment of his death is likewise transported to Occipitus - and is likewise reconstituted if it was destroyed. Dimensional anchor, dimensional lock, and similar spells delay the body's transportation in this manner, but once the spell's effect ends, the body transports to Occipitus immediately. After lying in state for 1d100 days on his home plane, both of Adimarchus' forms are restored to full life. If Adimarchus is slain on his home plane, he is dead forever.

Innate Spellcasting. Adimarchus' innate spell casting ability is Charisma (spell save DC 28). Adimarchus can innately cast the following spells, requiring no material components:

At will - detect good, detect magic, detect poison and disease, teleportmirror image
3/day - blindness/deafness (DC 28), entropic shield, greater command (DC 28), plane shift (DC 28), unholy blight (DC 28)
1/dayblasphemy (DC 28), flame strike (DC 28), song of discord (DC 28), summon demon (1d3+1 glabrezus or 1 marilith), word of chaos (DC 28)

Actions

Multiattack: Adimarchus makes two attacks: either with his gauntlet, whip, or wings.

+3 Anarchic Clawed Gauntlet:
Melee Weapon Attack: +21 to hit, reach 5 ft., 1 target. Hit: 17 (2d6 + 11) magical slashing damage plus 15 (3d10) force damage to any lawfully aligned creatures.

+1 Brilliant Energy Whip: Melee Weapon Attack: +17 to hit, reach 10 ft., one target. Hit: 11 (2d4 + 7) slashing damage plus 12 (3d8) radiant damage.

Entropic Shield: For 1 minute, a magical field appears around you, glowing with a chaotic blast of multicolored hues. This field deflects incoming arrows, rays, and other ranged attacks. Each ranged attack directed at you has disadvantage.

Greater Command: This spell functions like command except that up to one creature per level may be affected, and the activities continue beyond 1 round equal to your level. At the start of each commanded creature’s action after the first, it gets another Wisdom save to attempt to break free from the spell. Each creature must receive the same command.

Unholy Blight: You call up unholy power to smite your enemies. The power takes the form of a cold, cloying miasma of greasy darkness. Evil creatures are immune to this spell. The spell deals 5d10 necrotic damage to a good creature or 10d8 necrotic damage to a lawfully-good aligned character and causes it to be sickened for 2d4 rounds. A successful Wisdom save reduces damage to half and negates the sickened effect. The effects cannot be negated by remove disease, but spells that would remove a curse are effective. The spell deals only half damage to creatures who are neutral, and they are not sickened.

Blasphemy: Any non-evil creature within 40 ft of you suffers the following ill effects based on their Hit Die unless they can pass a DC 28 Wisdom save
- Equal to caster level : Dazed
- Up to caster level (-1): Weakened, dazed
- Up to caster level (-5): Paralyzed, weakened, dazed
- Up to caster level (-10): Killed, paralyzed, weakened, dazed
Furthermore, if you are on your home plane when you cast this spell, non-evil extra-planar creatures within the area are instantly banished back to their home planes. Creatures so banished cannot return for at least 24 hours. This effect takes place regardless of whether the creatures hear the blasphemy. The banishment effect allows a Wisdom save (DC 28) to negate.

Flame Strike: A vertical column of divine fire roars down from the heavens in a location you specify within 60 ft. Each creature in a 10-foot-radius, 40-foot-high cylinder centered on a point within range must make a DC 28 Dexterity saving throw. A creature takes 4d6 fire damage and 4d6 radiant damage on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one.

Song of Discord: For one round equal to the caster's level (22), each affected creature has a 50% chance to attack the nearest target each round. (Roll to determine each creature’s behavior every round at the beginning of its turn.) A creature that succeeds the save is free to act normally for that round. Creatures forced by a song of discord to attack their fellows employ their deadliest spells and most advantageous combat tactics. They do not, however, harm targets that have fallen unconscious.

Word of Chaos: Any non-chaotic creature within 40 ft of you suffers the following ill effects based on their Hit Die unless they can pass a DC 28 Wisdom save:
- Equal to caster level : Deafened
- Up to caster level (-1): Stunned, deafened
- Up to caster level (-5): Confused, stunned, deafened
- Up to caster level (-10): Killed, confused, stunned, deafened
Furthermore, if you are on your home plane when you cast this spell, non-chaotic extra-planar creatures within the area are instantly banished back to their home planes. Creatures so banished cannot return for at least 24 hours. This effect takes place regardless of whether the creatures hear the word of chaos. The banishment effect allows a Wisdom save (DC 28) to negate.

BONUS ACTIONS
Razorwings: Melee Weapon Attack:
+21 to hit, reach 10 ft., 1 target. Hit: 14 (2d6 + 8). These golden wings are razor sharp and may be used as an offhand weapon.

Legendary Actions

Implosive Strike: Three times between long rests and no more than once per round, Adimarchus can cause an opponent to implode with any normal melee attack. In addition to taking damage, the target must make a DC 28 CON save or collapse in on itself and be killed (Undead etc. are destroyed) instantly. Adimarchus must declare that he is using this ability before the attack roll is made.

Description

Adimarchus had two forms. The first may be what he looked like when he was a celestial, that of a pale purple-skinned hairless humanoid with razor sharp metallic wings. Golden tattoo-like patterns shift across his chest. His other form was that of a lithe humanoid with ash-black skin and four tentacles protruding from his back that end in lamprey-like maws. Adimarchus can switch between these two forms at will. To destroy Adimarchus was like fighting two separate creatures; killing just one form but not the other does not slay him. Damage sustained in one form was not carried over to the other.
