Swampbound
The Bog Golem's body is made of peat, roots, and sunken metal. While standing in water or swamp terrain, it regains 5HP at the start of its turn (max 3 times per day).
Construct Nature
Does not require air, food, drink, or sleep. Immune to disease.
Silt Form (Recharge 5-6)
As a bonus action, the golem can dissolve into a mound of black silt for up to 1 minute. When in this form, it can move through gaps as small as 1 inch wide, it gains resistance to all damage except force and radiant, and it cannot attack but can reform as a bonus action.
Anchor of the Mire
When reduced below half HP, thick roots lash out. All creatures within 10 ft. must succeed on a Strength saving throw (DC 13) or be restrained until the start of their next turn.
Heart of Ingenuity (Unique Feature)
Embedded in its chest is a fragment of a gnomish spearhead humming with faint magic. Removing it (either after defeating or pacifying the golem) yields the Shard of Ingenuity, one of the materials required to reforge the Gnomish Spear.
Multiattack.
The golem makes two Slam attacks.
Slam. Melee Weapon Attack: +5 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target.
Hit: 10 (2d6 + 3) bludgeoning damage.
Bog Breath (Recharge 6).
The golem exhales a cloud of fetid swamp gas in a 15-foot cone.
Each creature in that area must make a Constitution saving throw (DC 13) or take 2d8 poison damage and be poisoned until the end of its next turn.
Description
A hulking figure made of sodden peat, mangrove roots, and rusted gnomish metal plating. Its eyes glow with faint teal light, and small frogs nest in its shoulders. When it moves, it sounds like sucking mud. The sigil of the lost inventor Tirwin Coilwake glows faintly on its chest plate. This figure guards the ruins of Mireforge Hollow beneath the Smithy in Mirewatch, attacking intruders who seem to desecrate or steal from the Hollow. It hesitates to hit gnomes or those displaying Tirwin's sigil.
