Description
Long ago resisting the urge to collect materials of mortal value, the archivist dragon opts to hoard and protect knowledge. This knowledge is most commonly in the form of scrolls and tomes. archivist dragons are most likely to be found in elaborate libraries where they have painstakingly organized all knowledge collected. Upon offerings of knowledge, the dragon may willingly share knowledge with mortals it deems worthy. The dragon views itself as a protector of the realm's most precious secrets, allowing the most dangerous secrets to fade into obscurity among the mortals.
The archivist dragon has scales of white, covered in a paperlike substance with runes and passages covering surface. This has softened her natural armor in exchange for deeper knowledge in the arcane arts. The dragon will often shift into human form as to collect more knowledge without striking fear into those around her.
Lair and Lair Actions

- Animated Tomes. [roll]1d4+1[/roll] Animated Books rise and attack intruders (use Flying Sword stats, bludgeoning damage).

- Shifting Shelves. The lair reconfigures; all creatures must succeed on a DC 15 Strength saving throw or be restrained by tumbling stacks of tomes until the start of their next turn.
