Traits

Admiral’s Voidsteel Regalia. The Admiral’s armor is forged from condensed starlight. It grants resistance to force and radiant damage and allows them to breathe and move freely in the Astral Sea. Whenever they are hit by a ranged attack, roll a d6 — on a 6, the attack is reflected back at the attacker.

Fleet Command (1/Day). As an action, the Admiral can call upon the collective will of their fleet. Up to five allied creatures they can see (or any Corsair ships under their command) gain advantage on all attack rolls, saving throws, and skill checks until the end of the Admiral’s next turn.
Allied ships within 500 feet gain +2 to AC and damage rolls until the start of the Admiral’s next turn.

Legend of the Astral Sea. The Admiral has advantage on Charisma checks made against pirates, soldiers, and planar entities of any kind. Celestials and fiends recognize them as an equal — or a rival.

Unyielding Authority. The Admiral is immune to being charmed, frightened, or paralyzed. Any allied Corsair who can see the Admiral has advantage on saving throws against fear.

Actions

Multiattack. The Admiral makes three attacks with the Starbreaker Saber or Radiant Pistol.

Starbreaker Saber. Melee Weapon Attack: +8 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 13 (2d8 + 4) slashing damage plus 9 (2d8) radiant damage. On a critical hit, the target must succeed on a DC 16 Constitution saving throw or be blinded until the end of its next turn.

Radiant Pistol. Ranged Weapon Attack: +7 to hit, range 60/180 ft., one target. Hit: 16 (3d8 + 3) radiant or force damage.

Commanding Presence (Recharge 5–6). The Admiral releases a wave of authority that ripples through the void. Each enemy of their choice within 30 ft. must succeed on a DC 17 Wisdom saving throw or become frightened until the end of the Admiral’s next turn. Allies within range gain 10 temporary hit points and may immediately move up to half their speed without provoking opportunity attacks.

Astral Barrage (Recharge 6). Calling upon the energy of their fleet’s ship cannons, the Admiral marks a point within 120 feet. Celestial cannons materialize, unleashing three spectral volleys of fire. Each creature in a 20-foot radius must make a DC 16 Dexterity saving throw, taking 31 (7d8) force damage on a failed save or half as much on a success.

Description

Lore

Across the endless shimmer of the Astral Sea, where starlight drifts like smoke and time itself runs thin, the name of the Astral Corsair Admiral echoes like a cannon’s thunder.

The Admiral is no mere pirate — they are the High Commander of an Astral Clans, each fleet a reflection of their iron will and unyielding ambition. To mortals, they are a legend of lawless dominion; to their Corsairs, they are a god of freedom and flame.

Their armor is a fusion of divine relic and naval regalia — a shimmering voidsteel admiral’s carapace polished to a mirror sheen, overlaid with heavy cosmic silks and a long, flowing admiral’s coat that ripples like a nebula. Around their shoulders hangs a mantle of constellation-threaded cloth, symbolizing their dominion over the void.

They command their fleets not through tyranny, but through mutual respect earned in blood. Every captain and crew owes them a favor, a debt, or a scar.

Some whisper that their helm was forged from a dying star — that when they remove it, one can see galaxies reflected in their eyes.

They are the voice that unites the Astral Corsairs, the mind that plots against gods, and the heart that beats for nothing but the boundless freedom of the Sea Between Stars.
