Traits

Dark Blessing. The warlock adds its Charisma modifier to saving throws against spells and magical effects.

Fiendish Resilience. When the warlock starts its turn at half its hit points or less, it gains temporary hit points equal to its Charisma modifier (3).

Ritual Conduit. While concentrating on a ritual, the warlock has resistance to bludgeoning, piercing, and slashing damage from nonmagical weapons. If concentration ends, the ritual falters.

Spellcasting. The warlock is a 5th-level spellcaster. Its spellcasting ability is Charisma (spell save DC 13, +5 to hit with spell attacks). It has the following spells prepared:

  • Cantrips (at will): eldritch blast, thaumaturgy, mage hand

  • 1st level (4 slots): armor of Agathys, hellish rebuke, hex

  • 2nd level (3 slots): mirror image, scorching ray

  • 3rd level (2 slots): counterspell, fireball

Actions

Multiattack. The warlock makes two Eldritch Blast attacks or one melee attack and casts a cantrip.

Eldritch Blast (Cantrip). Ranged Spell Attack: +5 to hit, range 120 ft., one target. Hit: 8 (1d10 + 3) force damage per beam (2 beams).

Fiendish Dagger. Melee Weapon Attack: +4 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 5 (1d8 + 1) piercing damage plus 4 (1d8) fire damage.

Bonus Actions

Dark Command (1/Day). The warlock issues a fell command; up to two allied cultists within 30 ft. can use their reaction to make a weapon attack.

Reactions

Fiendish Rebuke (1/Day). When hit by a melee attack, the warlock deals 7 (2d6) fire damage to the attacker.

Description

The Cult Warlock (Fiend Leader) is a charismatic zealot whose infernal pact fuels both the ritual and their followers’ fanaticism. Flames flicker in their eyes as they chant, channeling their patron’s will to burn away the unworthy.
