Description
These Abyssal Angler Spider have fed on abyssal touched creatures and/or live next to an open portal to the Nine Hells and/or The Abyss where the continual energy that corrupts the nearby land has also infect these creatures. Either way their normal appearance has been corrupted and defiled.
Abyssal Angler Spider tends to trap multiple prey at once even if it has enough food to survive as it is now driven for consuming flesh so it typically kills every living creature around its den. The Abyssal Angler's Web is extended out from its den to cover a large area to create a large hunting area. If it cannot collect food fast enough it has been seen to hunt and track down prey inside and outside of its hunting area and drag it back to its den. If the Abyssal Angler Spider is not found by an active portal to the Nine Hell, Abyss, and/or a corrupted lands then it likes chooses a large dense forest next to a hillside or mountainside to create a den for its food collection. It can also be found where it can make a den hidden in the middle of a large hunting area where it can utilize its web to its fullest protentional.
It uses corrupted sticky and non-sticky web to encase its prey in a cocoon to allow the acidic web to begin digesting the prey inside of the cocoon. It has also encased prey that are not paralyzed and simple restrained which causes those cocoons to be thicker than others and is sticky web is on the outside to trap any other prey that might come help the one inside. Once the prey is completely liquify inside of the cocoon, (depending on the prey it might take hours, days, weeks) the Abyssal Angler Spider then consumes the liquid. Once the liquid has be drained from these used cocoons then is placed outside of its den as anything that survived the acid, metal and magic objects, typical attracts more prey to seek its den out. Inside the den tends to be filled with many unbroken cocoons that has different rates of decay for the creature inside.
The Abyssal Angler Spider can have a symbiotic relationship with other undead creatures that comes to feed off of the scraps or the prey that is too small for the Abyssal Angler Spider to care to consume. The Abyssal Angler Spider also tends to kill and cocoon too much food for it to notice if other undead creatures steals some food and/or if some prey becomes undead around it.
