Description

" A great crackling sound was heard as two gigantic demonic-looking wings spread from its back...  "

" Through the wall of dust that stretched from floor to ceiling, he saw two sapphire blue eyes peer out at him, each one about the size of a Clydesdale horse. They held his gaze as he unknowingly stepped toward the dust. A hideous snarl reverberated through the cavern as Yngvi came ever closer. "

" The entire skeleton had come to life, but wasn't fully covered in skin yet. Midnight-black armored scales were racing along the bones with little wisps of purple sparks where the scales spread. A humongous beast was this; rightly named the Hrokstan, or ‘terror-earth.’  " - Excerpts from "The Halgurd and the Hrokstan"

Lair and Lair Actions

Hrokstan's can be found starting at around 5 miles below the ground. They are dormant creatures until awakened from their darksteel cages. A Hrokstan's lair is usually an empty cavern filled with shallow pools of dark water. Being dormant, they do not need to eat and once awakened, they must either be slain or put back under the curse which has trapped them in their skeletal cages for millenia.
