Description
The Bloodroot Ravager is a wiry, feral gnoll, muscles taut and sinewy beneath mottled skin streaked with blood and fungal growths. Its hooked cleavers gleam in the light, each strike leaving a sickly residue of spores and corrosion on armor. Unlike the Alpha, the Ravager is a hunter of opportunity, drawn to wounded foes and exploiting their weakness with relentless aggression.
The gnoll moves with an unnerving speed, closing gaps between enemies with a predatory grace. When it lands a critical blow, clouds of poisonous spores erupt from its weapons, forcing enemies to fight not only the gnoll but also the lingering toxins it spreads. Its relentless assault on wounded enemies is amplified by Blood Frenzy, granting it advantage against foes already injured—a trait that makes the Ravager especially dangerous in drawn-out battles.
Combat with the Ravager is savage and methodical. Its Rend Armor ability punishes those who underestimate its coordination, chipping away at defenses as it lands repeated attacks. Even a heavily armored opponent can find themselves exposed after a single turn of focused cleaver strikes.
